The Young NanoScientist India Award, sponsored by Oxford Instruments, recognises and encourages young scientists in India.
The Award is presented biennially to a scientist, younger than 45 years of age, for outstanding research in the fabrication and characterisation of nanomaterials and nanostructures in physical or bio nanotechnology.
The Young NanoScientist India Award has a selection committee comprising of 5 senior professors. This committee selects the winner from the candidates who have been nominated for the prize.
The award comprises of a commemorative certificate, trophy, a cash prize of INR ₹200,000 and a unique opportunity to give invited lectures at selected foreign Universities.
